Pros

This company sponsors H1B visa for outside candidates in India since they don't have good any talent pool within their company.

Cons

1) False promises: HTC recruits candidates by giving lot of false promises for the candidates who are joining. For e.g: they recruit outside candidates saying that they will make you travel immediately. But then, candidates have to wait in Offshore for 2 - 3 years to get some onsite Opportunity. 2) Labor bond: They normally put labor bond in jobs. Even though, it is not appropriate in US, they are willing to do it. 3) Zero Quality: It is funny about the type of the projects they handle. Most of the projects are of very low standards. Lot of employees are highly incapable. It is amazing to see the quality of the freshers. They recruit freshers from some unknown colleges, whoever is having arrears, whoever is jobless for many years. They pay them very less, put bond for many years and make them sit at company for many years. 2) Zero Ethics: This company doesn't have any ethics at all. HRs and Managers are uncultured, they don't know how to treat their fellow employees. They will ask you to pay for H1b application fee: I presume, no good company will do it. 3) No Brand name: It doesn't have any good brand name. When I got offer letter rolled out, I was literally searching for the existence of the company. No one has heard about it. 4) No policies are defined in this company. Everything is case to case basis. You have to bargain with HR & Managers for the basic needs. 5) When you are not satisfied with the company and want to move out. They will be rude and threaten you to pay money, they won't giving relieving letters, won't give good feedback e.t.c 4) Very low compensation. No performance based bonus. No benefits.

Pros

Flexible work schedule - Generous PTO - The people that have been at your side through the sinking ship you call HTC.

Cons

Movement within the company is little to nothing. Management doesn't listen to wants and needs for you to succeed in your role. the salary is non livable. the amount you pay for insurance will suck up over 50% if your take home. your voice isn't heard when you need it to be heard. when they tell you to jump they expect for you ask "how high". Ever since HTC brought out CareTech, it's been nothing but clients dropping business and mass firings. it won't be long before the doors shut for good. This place is a revolving door. beware.

Pros

Because they have one big Client who generates 90%+ of billing...HTC does well only if State Farm is growing...but that party has ended!

Cons

Another India-sourced company that arose from y2k crisis. They happened to land on the State Farm preferred provider list and stumbled into a growing IT contract company based on a single client. They have ZERO idea how to run a business and are currently pursuing over-bidding on M&A because their sole client is in free-fall. They do almost no communication to employees. We hear most information about the future of our roles/jobs from our co-workers at other contracting firms who do communicate with their contractors... Almost zero spent on training.
