Pros

Strong organization with sufficient support for sales, marketing and service. Regions have enough independence to respond to customer needs and market trends.

Cons

HUB regions have grown very large. It is difficult to coordinate on a national level without losing regional independence.

Advice to management is welcomed and appreciated, so thank you for your comments. We are sensitive to allowing our regional producers and support teams the leeway to maintain and grow business at the grass roots level while promoting our leading practices nationally, and yes we recognize the challenges that exist because of our fast paced growth at all levels. Additionally, we’re pleased to know that employees are looking for advancement within the organization. We hear you and will work to provide more opportunities to learn about those openings and take advantage of them. We encourage employees to subscribe to internal job openings and apply for positions.

Pros

Work/life balance, tuition reimbursement, lunch recognition.

Cons

Medical benefits suck. Most employees are under their spouses' medical insurance because Hub's medical insurance is a nightmare, it's not worth it. You'll just work to pay your medical bills. Salaries are not competitive. CEO and top managers make the real money, everyone else gets a misery, and then they have the nerve to ask employees to donate for a cause. No holiday bonus, instead a miserable $25 gift card.

Medical benefits and salary are big issues and difficult topics to address in a post. We encourage your feedback on major issues like these in forums such as the employee survey, or even directly with your manager and local HR department. We sincerely want to hear from our employees on areas where we can improve and then take those suggestions to develop new workable solutions, and to understand actions that may be upsetting to employees. We do actively benchmark our benefit programs against peer companies. We are continually seeking ways to help Hub families address the risks associated with the rising cost of healthcare via the increasing choices and voluntary benefits.
