Benefits folks really came through for me

Cons

No job performance feedback provided at all, PM and assistant visited work site just once in four years. PM harassment after an issue was resolved was totally unprofessional. Assistant PM claimed knowledge of job uniqueness/peculiarities but was mostly clueless.

Pros

Your hours are billed to the DOD. This is a blessing because there is little oversight from the company besides HR concerns. If the DOD is happy, HX5 is happy.

Cons

Limited communication from management may feel like you are abandoned. But for an experienced veteran, you may enjoy the flexibility and not having the company involved in the day-to-day.
