Not a bad place to work for a few years and then take experience elsewhere. Senior team is clueless.

Pros

Pay is fair. You will learn a lot about all aspects of business if you pay attention. Most people really want to do the right thing. Good benefits and if you have kids they have nice events for families. Location is good for commuting - right off I-25 at main offices in Colorado.

Cons

Unless you are on "the Track" hired in from corporate, room for advancement is extremely limited. "Promotions are pre-determined for a limited few" was a quote I heard and it is valid. Senior team for the most part could care less about people or customers, manage their own careers well but don't care about customers or employees. Always short staffed and very stressful.

If you can handle lean management, this is the place for you!

Good health benefits. Stable working environment with few layoffs. Opportunity to improve the environment and work with intelligent people.

Cons

Danaher's lean management drives people into the ground, so burn-outs are common. No work life balance. Extremely difficult to get back fills/head count, which increases the remaining associate's workload. Only a few departments promote from within the company.
