Pros

Good company with great direction and leadership. Leadership is always trying to improve and innovation is encouraged at all levels. Lots of opportunity for a "go-getter" and lots of options for career advancement. Stable jobs with rarely any lay-offs.

Cons

Runs lean so that means you will likely wear many hats and may feel swamped from time to time. Career advancement can seem cliquey/political occasionally. You really have to carve our your own way for advancement, no one else will do it for you.

The people here are excellent, kind, and usually good at their jobs. The company's public reputation is excellent. Customers are generally easy to deal with, emphasis on growing skillsets and developing proficiencies. Sizeable bonus twice a year. Okay starting pay, annual review for small raise. Managers are generally cool and easy to work with.

Cons

Opaque salary culture. If you start with the temp company, no benefits for months while they decide if you're worth the expense. Stingy corporate policies mean rare and meager raises based on high performance standards. Frequent staff shortages, in part because they will not take steps to make good people want to stay. Advancement opportunities exist, but the company values a flashy diploma more than experience and knowledge, so can be a dead-end if you don't have the right degree. Lots of mandates from the top and unannounced changes, suggestions from staff are rarely taken seriously.
