Great idea and attempt at culture but managers ruined it

Pros
Cool story, technology, and brand. When you go to the HQ office it seems really friendly and open culturally, you get all the cool snacks and drinks, swag etc. They do train you well, it can be a bit of overkill in the training process but it's good to learn the ins and outs.
Cons
Management was too much, they micromanaged my team and gave assignments like homework to us as if we were children. When the pandemic hit we were asked to meet at 9 am and 3pm every single day to "check in" which screamed we weren't trusted to do our job. Too many internal meetings, I felt everyone else loved this place so much but this ruined it for me.
