Pros

opportunities to learn about the oilfield and technology, if you seek it out. training is

Cons

Promises of advancement are empty, nepotism is rampant. Watch people who start working the same time as you, who work less, climb the ladder because of who they know, not the work they do. Zero concern for employees desire when discussing their future. You do what they ask, move when they ask, and be grateful for the opportunity weather you like it or not. 12-14 hours days are not out of the ordinary, and vacation? You better have internet access and your phone handy. be ready to work 60+ hour weeks and some on the weekend.

Pros

Good money, most of the people I worked with were easy to get along with. Friends who still work there really like it and have advanced far.

Cons

work life balance is horrible. I routinely worked 80+ hours a week. Those hours were unpredictable. Also, there was a million managers and it was unclear who was in charge of what.
