Caring management, finicky store rules and coworkers

Clientele: nice old people, or nice people looking for gifts for loved ones. Extremely slow pace. Learn valuable skills such as bookkeeping. Sweet manager who was very caring. More or less flexible schedule.

Cons

can get extremely boring- main reason I left. More old school than other stores, cannot wear jeans, everything has to be just so. Coworker was sweet but bit of a control freak- privately owned stores so lots of little rules to follow.VERY slow paced. like 1 customer per hour sometimes. Other stores such as wiggle works or michaels have more easygoing attitudes
