      Pros

      get to work independently and work your scheduled hours around your personal life as long as you completed all of your store visits each week.

      Cons

      Hallmark pays the lowest hourly wage for a retail merchandiser. You would think that Hallmark being the largest greeting card company could pay at least $11.00 or $12.00 an hour to keep up with their competitors and inflation.

      The best thing about the job was working on my own schedule. It's easy work.

      Cons

      The company is taking away the ability to work on your own schedule. No benefits. Tiny raises if you are lucky enough to even get a raise at all.

      Pros

      Best parts of this job are the people and the relationships built; immediate supervisor, Retail Merchandisers and the accounts we service. The tasks of the job are enjoyable and easy to perform, once the process is understood.

      Cons

      Although this is a Part-time position, with part-time pay and no benefits, full-time schedule availability is expected. Conflicting Corporate priorities and direction create issues in the field which then require extra time and effort to correct, with no additional consideration allowed within budgets to correct.
