Sales team is great! Product is amazing. Mid-size company that's not too big.

Cons

Owners are highly driven to the point of making it uneasy for staff, especially sales team due to high quotas and demands. Niche high-end market that determines ebb and flow profitability and puts a lot of pressure on sales and marketing team.

Hammerton has some really creative designers and artisans putting amazing lighting together. Hammerton recruits and hires very capable people...

and then drops the ball by not delivering. Promised reviews never materialize. People get left for months in "training" positions that were to be only for weeks. Mid-level management seems to alienate everyone below it while schmoozing the executive suite. In the past few weeks, four employees with a total of 60 years of service to the company have given notice, and are heading for greener pastures. That doesn't cover the ones that last two to six months and then look for something else.

This place is toxic! Owner doesn’t invest in their IT dept. company was hacked and blatantly lied about it to their consumers. Owner is beyond cheap and doesn’t have a clue as to what is going on. No follow through with what they say they’re going to do. HR stirs the pot and gossips, and the accounting dept is so unqualified.
