Great way to learn to multitask, learn the business side without having to be stuck in a cubicale. Travell beneifits as well is a great perk especially the new Team Member Travel program that just launched and starts in January 2016

Cons

Drains you really bad, makes you tired and you have to endure a lot of negativity, even if it wasn't your fault. But being at the Front Desk you are the frontline of the hotel, meaning always the first person to know about the good, bad, and mess ups, throughout the hotel.

Position gave an opportunity to interact with a wide range of guests from all over the world, a great customer service position, and an employee discount and reservation system at any Hilton property

Cons

Evening shifts and night audit shifts can be extremely boring at times. Occasionally had to deal with guests that were not happy with the accommodations or services offered.
