Pros
The morale of most workers is shockingly positive. A lot of people have been working there for over a decade, which shows more stability than I’ve seen in most hotels. You’re able to get free breakfast after the guests are done eating. You make out pretty well with tips some days. Management shows appreciation with food, gift cards, free waters. You can listen to music while cleaning the rooms.
Cons
Communication lacks in every department, not to the point it’s a sinking ship, but enough to get frustrated now and then. In the housekeeping department specifically, they are short on linen inventory which results in longer days. The job itself lacks predictably as you’ll never know how bad of a day you will walk into with # of rooms to clean to how dirty the rooms will be.
