Pros

I work 2 miles from home Meeting and getting to know customers from the local area is the best part in my opinion

Cons

My branch manager doesn’t seem to appreciate the employees very much. In spite of everything we do to make the branch a top performing branch within that region. I am consistently scheduled to work 40 hours a week in spite of being a part time 20 hours per week employee. We are not allowed to sit in our chairs at our teller stations. Cuts our lunch break times down to 20 - 30 mins frequently without a good reason Little tiny water bottles in fridge are for customers ONLY; employees are to use a very small and flimsy plastic cup to fill from the water cooler Branch manager seems to be all about the negative he/she can find within the branch on a daily basis and also seems to love to discipline employees for those findings. I’m talking about minor things such as the tv wasn’t turned on by opening @ 8:30 when he/she schedules you to arrive @ 8:15 to open the branch. 15 minutes to get computer up in order to clock in, makes 3 different coffees to be set out, open main vault, get cash drawers out, open night drop, work all night drop deposits, turn tv on AND ALL BE COMPLETED IN 15 MINUTES, or else be written up for not having the tv on!! NOT COOL and not to mention that consistent negativity and very little praise makes for a low work morale and leaves employees feeling always less than. And in spite of the branch being a top ranked branch! Customers are complaining about the high turnover rate of the tellers at that location and know it has to be for a reason, ya know?!
