Pros

Mostly great people to work with, good hours.

Cons

Don't take care it people, get sick you are penalized for using sick time, Penalized for coming in sick. Dont get sick!!!! They will act like your friend and stab you in the back especially if they are former Whitney . They talk about Bonuses on top of pay but those bonuses are a joke. What you get as a base is all you get. Once you are hired into to a position forget about moving up period they don't hire from within or promote to other positions with out a major fight. The rule of thumb all managers are told is hire external instead of promote.

Pros

Good benefits and paid time off.

Cons

Core values are preached by SR Management and HR; however, it only applies top down. Not much room for advancement. Different company since the Whitney acquisition.

Depends on the branch

Pros

Bank holidays Banking hours Free accounts for employees

Cons

My manager was incompetent. She would often ask tellers about procedures and policies that she should have known herself. She also avoided work and hid in her office all day. She had no idea how to communicate, and tried to micromanage without knowing how to manage in the first place. I don't know how the regional managers let it go on like this (they had to be aware, as the branch's turnover rate was really high) but they let it continue. Pay was low compared to other banking jobs, and benefits were terrible.
