Pros

I really enjoyed my time at Hancock Whitney. The people I worked with were fantastic—collaborative, friendly, and professional. The projects were engaging and meaningful, offering plenty of opportunities to grow. Management was always supportive and approachable, which made a big difference day to day. The pay was also excellent compared to other companies in the area, making it a very competitive choice. I always recommend Hancock Whitney to my peers, and as an alumnus of the local college, I regularly encourage new grads to consider applying. It's a great environment for building a career.

Cons

The only real downside during my time there was that they discontinued official hybrid or remote work options in 2024, which reduced flexibility for employees who valued working from home.

Pros

Truth 401k, stock options, are just about the only pros

Cons

Worked for them for 4 years before the merger of Whitney. Once this occurred it was like a hostile work environment with Whitney managers taking over all key jobs. And run off Hancock people. People that were brown nosing Mangement got raises and promotions. Saw people get fired for be accused of stealing with no proof, fired for sexual harassment of friends and friends forced to take company side to protect jobs, Mangers setting employees up to take fall for stuff. 5 mins late for work would result in write up.
