      Pros

      Medical benefits and salary continuation are a plus. Some fine people work at Hancock Bank.

      Cons

      The disconnect between the bank's core values (Honor & Integrity, Strength & Stability, Commitment to Service, Teamwork, and Personal Responsibility) and reality. For some, performing at or above expectations, does not equate to much in the way of career advancement opportunities or pay raises. Meanwhile, other individuals, underperforming and racking up HR complaints, move on to other positions---to again---underperform. Leadership made aware of the situation looks the other way.

      All down hill after Hancock bought Whitney

      Pros

      Whitney was a great place to work before they were purchased by Hancock. They had nice people, decent pay, good benefits.

      Cons

      Hancock changed everything with Whitney that didn't need to be changed. Many people who had been with Whitney for many years lost their jobs in the process.
