      Pros

      pretty good pay and benefits. very open atmosphere with regards to work as long as work is getting done. decent policy's almost impossible to get fired.

      Cons

      Upper management walked around with dang feather dusters! I wanted a pallet to drop on one of them and end the nonsense. Very many managers and assistants and other non essential personnel who think they run the show. keep your head down and don't take any bull. Not so bad.

      Too much drama/gossip, especially among middle management Scheduling issues have resulted in inadequate staffing levels at high-volume times. Competition in the surrounding area is increasing, and the store is becoming less busy.

      It's an easy job. It's easy money. They're pretty flexible and good with college students.

      Cons

      Crazy people manage this company. I worked in two different stores and both had terrible managers. I loved working here when I started and I dreaded going to work every single day at the end. The customers are horrible as well. I hate dealing with morons who think they are entitled to the whole store. I entered Hannaford as a naive, happy, smiley 16 year old girl, and I left as a grumpy, hard-heartened 21 year old woman with a blackened soul.
