      Pros

      It was a generally laid back environment with mostly nice management. During the day it would get pretty fast paced, and in the evenings it would be the opposite.

      Cons

      Some managers and supervisors seemed to pick favorites among the cashiers.

      Not Bad for a Student Job

      Pros

      - Pay is at least a dollar better than minimum age, for starting. - Some coworkers were nice. - Customers aren't as bad as people make them out to be, but I suppose that's because the store is in a small town where everyone knows everyone. - Our schedules are very flexible and my supervisor was very understanding (for the most part). - Training is paid.

      Cons

      - Some of the other coworkers you could practically tell they despise their jobs. To me, this increases the tension I feel while on the job, especially since I'm scheduled to work with most of them. - The store is short of staff quite often. A few days ago, there was a rush of people during the morning and I was one of the two cashiers out. - A lot of stuff you "learn" via computer training is wrong; a lot of on-the-job training.
