Since Delhaize took over, they have eliminated numerous full-time positions, drastically cut payroll hours, discontinued a profit-sharing fund, cut back on paid time-off benefits, and implemented unrealistic expectations. Because of this, everyone has to do the work of 2-3 people, which has resulted in a huge increase in work-related injuries, overtired, overworked, and stressed associates at every level.
