Interesting Company- does not recognize internal talent
Pros
Hanover is an interesting company in that they work with a lot of great organizations (in education and corporate) and it offers you the chance to learn from a lot of really smart people who are looking to make strategic decisions. A lot of Hanover's staff is also very smart and talented. Good to build an early career foundation of knowledge.
Cons
Hanover is an interesting company in that they seemingly have no gauge of their internal talent pipeline! This disconnect likely comes between middle and upper management, It has been bizarre in the time since I worked there seeing how many talented people have left the organization. Obviously, I don't know the full picture but it was rare to see them promote some of their best homegrown talent (which Hanover, would also be cheaper then looking externally and swinging and missing repeatedly).
