Positive culture, but directionless and low growth

Pros

Hanover has a great, warm, and welcoming culture. The pay doesn't necessarily attract top talent, but the folks are nice. Work life balance is good.

Cons

Hanover is struggling to produce revenue. Leadership regularly sets revenue goals too optimistically and misses them. On a broader level, the company isn't innovating and can't decide how to evolve its value proposition to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving marketplace (do you want to specialize in specific industry verticals? Do you want to be more full service or DIY?). Because of this poor and risk-averse leadership, the company isn't doing well and isn't investing in the future. The low morale and low compensation directly impacts who is willing to work there longer term. Growth opportunities are very limited, sadly.

Terrible Structure. Poor leadership

Pros

The teammates and colleagues were all great people. You can work your way up quickly as an associate to a director. But beyond that there isn't much to do

Cons

The executives in general were all really conceited and just showed terrible vision plans for growth. Maybe they rooted out some of that from the departure of two managers last year, but unlikely to have changed at the top.
