Pros

The company has many great opportunities for professional development. You can also learn a lot by working with colleagues, who are very responsive and helpful. In addition, the company is very supportive on personal issues, and tries the best to help you from all aspects. Work conditions are also very good to employees, and the company allows you to work remotely after you work for long enough time and have good performance.

Cons

The work pace is fast, and sometimes you can be very busy (but not always). Most of the time, you work on a project yourself, and there's not much collaboration. This mode might not be suitable for those who prefer collaboration during work.

Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to hear that you are enjoying your time at Hanover. I must agree that the pace is fast. Our clients expect us to respond to their questions within a short time and that can be challenging at times. The independent nature of the work is beneficial for some employees but a little isolating for those who need more constant social interactions during the day. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Pros

Has a good bonus structure for the sales force. Also, company is pretty flexible with your time if you meet goals

Cons

Promotion opportunities are limited as the company is still growing. Also, does not have much name recognition if you want to take it elsewhere, or apply to graduate school.

Thank you for your feedback. As we grow at such an aggressive pace, we see many staff have opportunities for promotion and stretch roles. 20% of our research staff were promoted at the most recent review cycle so I would disagree with your assessment of limited promotion opportunities. I'm glad to hear that you found the flexibility and sales bonuses a highlight of the role.

Pros

- Hard work and talent do not go unnoticed. With the fast growth of the company and a meritocratic culture, there is no need to 'wait your turn' before promotion. - A company culture that strikes the right balance between ambition and hard work, and socialization and community service. Happy hours, potlucks, trivia nights, and charity events are encouraged and well-attended.

Cons

- As mentioned many times in these reviews, professional development and training programs are sorely needed. Currently, the employees who have been successful are those who haven't needed much help in terms of training. Instituting a new employee training program would help build confidence and satisfaction for many others who might find much of the work (for both Content and Business Development) to be challenging. - As a researcher on the Content side, and it be easy at times to feel like a cog in the machine. More could be done to encourage every employee to understand the 'big picture'.
