      This is an ok job, but there doesn't appear to be much opportunity for advancement.

      Pros

      Easy job. You stock the product and then sell the product. Some companies have a seasonal room that always changes. Harbor Freight Tools doesn't have that issue.

      Cons

      Senior management does not have a clue how things work in a store. Pushing mailing cards hurts selling Inside Track Club memberships. Why should customers pay for something they just signed up for for free.

      Pros

      The company has good health and 401K benefits, if you can get a full time position.

      Cons

      The company is mostly interested in part time employees and ultimately doesn't care about employee welfare. Low wages. No benefits for part time employees. The available hours are based on an unusually small percentage of sales dollars; 5.5% is considered very high. Schedules and hours are not consistent.
