      Not a lot anymore, the company used to offer competitive pay but hasn't adjusted with minimum wage increases.

At Harbor Freight, we value people above all else and we are committed to providing our Associates with competitive compensation to support their lives. We review the wages for our Retail Associates several times a year by comparing them with the market, including the wages of surrounding retailers and the applicable minimum wage, and we will make appropriate increases. Retail Associates’ wages are also evaluated and adjusted during the annual performance review period, in addition to other discretionary compensation we provide to our Associates.       Some of the upper management can be micro managers. Putting policies into place that are not company standards.
