Pros

Very employee centric. Always asking for feedback; surprising us with free food and Small gifts of appreciation. For being a retail environment, the hours are quite nice, and they offer ample PTO. The pay is very competitive at all levels. With the right manager the stores run very smoothly and efficiently.

Cons

Customers can be pretty difficult to deal with here as cost is a big concern for the demographics that typify the clientele of this retailer. Many people purchase the tools for the weekend and return them on Monday leaving it to us to have to enforce all the policies around returns etc. which can really wear on you.

Pros

I've managed stores for the last 12 years. Thos is by far the best and easiest role I've ever had. Pay is good. Bonuses are good. Work life balance is good, but you need to get your store right first. My team is legit now.

Cons

Not too much. It's hard to find good leadership, but that's everywhere. A lot of people are scared of "tools" so they don't apply or they're just not qualified at all.
