Pros

Outstanding benefits including a world class pension if you were fortunate enough to get hired before August 2006, otherwise a marginal added 401K contribution. Excellent compensation and fair opportunities for movement and advancement. Annual bonus (STIP) and 401K matching are generous

Cons

Moving quickly to a culture of fear, retribution and good old boy "yes man and woman". Watch your back if your manager, director, VP or CEO are dumber than you are. They don't like having their authority or decisions questioned. That wasn't the case during the Wandell and prior eras but seems to be the case in the Levatich era. "One step forward and two steps back" approach to running a business.

Pros

Nothing left there, that is why I left.

Cons

Poor recruitment of Casual Workforce employees (Most of them are unskilled and dress like hoodlums and gangbangers, but want to be paid the union's regular worker wages, get treated fairly and not work for it. There were thefts in the numerous parking lots. Air quality is horrendous as Pilgrim Road smells like moldy mushrooms all the time. Production Management knows nothing about people and using their skills to get jobs done. High theft rates of union people's food from the casuals. Many were caught. Scare Tactic Management Staff LOW Morale Bathrooms are so dirty you would puke, since the casuals came aboard.

Pros

Pay is still above average for the area. There are some great people to work with that genuinely care about H-D and and want to see it succeed.

Cons

The company has made some drastic changes since 2010. The focus has been on holding employees accountable to everything they do. It is no longer about creativity and working towards the same goal. No longer treat employees with respect and dignity. The focus now is about disciplining both salaried and hourly for every thing possible. Very little opportunity for advancement and raises are 2% for meets expectations.
