Pros

Working Retail Pharmacy Experience, customer service experience.

Cons

I was only given part time hours, and basically you have to take what hours they give you from 10am to 10pm. Not an ideal schedule if you have kids in school. Also the senior techs have priority over the schedule picks. I also spent alot of money in earning my PTCB and college degree in order to gain the skills to work as a CPhT. But Harmon's management only offered me an hourly wage at $12.25/hr. !! Also they did not give employees any kind of store discount, which I thought was really cheap of them!!!

Pros

Always flexible with schedule if you give them advanced notice. They spend a lot of time training people in customer service.

Cons

Low pay. Poor management. Store Directors don't know what really goes on within each department because they never interact with anyone but the managers. Department managers are rewarded for everyone else's hard work, and they don't take care of the rest of the employees.

Pros

The people that go to Harmons are very nice, appreciate the customer service and the wide selection of gluten free and organic items we have in the store. Bob comes into the store regularly and he's an awesome guy. From what I see. Always friendly. And not overly cheesy with customers.

Cons

Training and management needs some work. I've worked multiple places being a front end cashier, but the way they have Harmons set up has got to be the most awful company I have worked for. Drama with other employees (managers included) no flexabilty, favoritism, odd hours, low pay, have to jump through hoops in order to get paid a little better. I joined Harmons because I liked the mission statements...and believed they would value the people who worked for them. Sadly the mission statement isn't true.
