      Small Divisions in a Large Parent Company - Best of Both Worlds

      Pros

      Be part of a small, dynamic startup organization within a stable, successful parent company. Lots of remote work opportunities among many divisions.

      Cons

      Very focused on financial metrics, sometimes at the expense of innovation, but that culture is changing.

      Pros

      Excellent people-colleagues, managers, directors, VPs, EVPs, etc. Generous Leave Time-helps with work/life balance. Everyone cares from the higher ups all the way down to lower level management.

      Cons

      Pay is somewhat on the lower side-some have 2nd jobs to supplement income.

      Large company with the feel of a small company

      Pros

      Harris is made of several different business units. You can become a part of one of these business units and be appreciated for the person and job you do. You're not a number. You will also have the opportunity to apply for positions within the other business units. Opportunities are limitless.

      Cons

      A con is difficult to come up with. Possibly more consistency across business units. I.e. same type and amount of all hands meetings within each business unit.
