Great place to learn criminal system

Pros

Flexibility with family matters. Different departments are very willing to work together within Harris County. Benefits are very good. Current management are willing to review salary competitiveness.

Cons

Elevators are constantly in repair mode. Current buildings needs renovations and place to purchase quick breakfast/lunch items. Can be expensive to park within the court buildings.

It's a very nice place to work, stress free, and very amicable personel. Provide multiple continued education programs and trainings.

Cons

Can be a little bit slow paced. Don't have many complaints for the time I was there

Pros

Workday was 6-2:30 so had most of the day at your disposal. Pay was good and plenty opportunities for overtime. Also backing of management if a dispute arose with a community service worker.

Cons

Possibility to have to work holidays. Also, required to keep up and check work done by community service workers could be a pain if they had a bad attitude.
