Pros

Profit sharing, relatively flexible scheduling, friendly coworkers, close to where I live, usually consistent scheduling, empowered and trusted by management

Cons

many days scheduled in a row, can be an issue when needing to take time off, weekend shifts, holiday shifts, early morning shifts after late night shifts, low pay

Pros

* Better than than most of the crappy low-skill jobs * Held to higher standards than most other grocery stores (a double-edged sword) meaning you don't have to clean up after super lazy co-workers as much.

Cons

* Uncaring and ineffective management (both store and department managers and co-managers) * Better pay, but still bad pay. * Disproportionate amount of work to amount of pay * Annoying customers * Expected to do a ton of tasks in a small amount of time (literally impossible). * Moderately high stress, constantly racing the clock and under pressure. * Not very comprehensive training, you'll waste a lot of time asking questions for stuff you should've been taught during training. * Employee discount isn't too exciting.

Pros

Good pay and had some good workers under me. Sadly they will be ruined to.

Cons

The store I was at was horrible. I can't believe the money the would pay to train in the BBT program, and allow such stupidity from upper managers. No support from them at all. The can't do your job or help you cause the don't know how. A very very audit driven company. Unrealistic goals. Spend so much time on audits not enough time with customers or associate training. If they treated the associates the way they treated customers it would be a much more happier store. Low moral no one is happy. I had some great associates working there and I know they are very very unhappy. No open door policy at all. Customer complains doesn't matter if your right or wrong your at fault even if you followed the policy. Can't defend yourself cause your made to always feel your in the wrong.
