Pros

Hatch offers a great deal of opportunities in different areas and flexibility

Cons

Senior management continually falls short on recognizing strong performers within the company and as a result we have lost a lot of very good people.

Pros

Great projects, teams, technical excellence, possibility to travel, overseas assignments, client and result driven, good motto "do your homework"

Cons

Long hours, work-life balance can be difficult, business sensitive to economy (but which one is not!)

Quality engineering and poor HR

Business Outlook

Pros

Great engineering knowledge within the company and focus on delivering high-quality projects. Good place to learn the ropes of EPCM management. Good benefits.

Cons

If you're making them money on a project or specialized team, they will never let you change location or career orientation. HR spent more time time on my exit interview than 3 years of asking to find opportunities abroad. Associates and share-owners are a million times more important then regular employees.
