      New Hatch is Horrible - Avoid

      Pros

      Hatch 10 years ago used to have many pros such as continued learning for employees, proper mentorship and personal growth. This changed in ~2016. Now I cannot think of many pros.

      Cons

      - performance does not matter and is not reflected in monetary incentives - many high performers are overlooked unless they are very vocal about it to management - HR does not deal with unprofessional issues properly - some managers really need to take courses on leadership - poor leadership transparency - compared to its competitors, they have the lowest pay for similar positions - no acknowledgment of company loyalty

      Very smart people Cool engineering projects Innovative Diverse, many different areas to work in Freedom to drive your own career Employee owned - if you get offered shares can do well

      Cons

      Salary growth is very slow - without shares you will have to live a humble life No performance based differentiation at the junior levels Light on management - need to be able to take control of your own career as you will have minimal guidance
