Pros

Good if you're an engineer and wants to work on large-scale international projects.

Cons

100% in-office mandate even though you're on MS Teams calls with colleagues in other parts of Canada or around the world.

Pros

Hatch is a good place to build your skills, especially in different areas of the environmental sector. They're supportive of you trying new roles and supporting on different projects.

Cons

There's a massive disconnect between senior and junior staff. With multiple layoffs, the support that was expected from senior management to help staff feel secure was not present. There is also a lot of focus on the "Manifesto", however it doesn't come across as genuine.

Pros

Culture and inclusion is probably the best at Hatch. Supportive team and some leaders.

Cons

Lack of opportunities for promotion. No autonomy per different regions. No effort to improve processes. Salary review and bonus is very mysterious. No flexibility at all, compulsory 5 days in the office for everyone makes the atmosphere hectic.
