Pros

nothing uniquely good about Hatch

Cons

It's really hard to trust management. they're very reactive and go into this frenzied make changes fast and without all the data needed it seems. there is lack of a North star to follow due to poor planning and the company gets itself into these situations where they have to lay off 1/3 of their employees. health benefits are appalling little trust in anyone that wasn't involved in the "early on" crew

Pros

Caring, at first. Doesn't last long.

Cons

Unless you're a part of their first batch of employees, you'll be left in the dust. Those employees are invincible. They only hang out with their inner circle, they are allowed to make mistakes, they can switch their roles left and right. If you're not part of that group... good luck! You're on your own.

Thank you for voicing your experience at Hatch. As we grow, there will inevitably be areas for which we can improve upon overall experience and inclusion for all employees. Your feedback is valuable in helping us identify and address areas of concern. While we do value the input and insight that we can gain from our veteran employees, Hatch does not exhibit favoritism. In fact, the majority of our team have only been with us for 18 months or less and have played a vital role in the success and growth of the company. We value the unique perspective that being a veteran employee can bring to the table, but we are inclusive of ALL of our employees. As with any growing start-up, sometimes our needs change quickly, and often without warning. Any internal role changes were made out of necessity to the business and because these employees had previous or complementary experience to the role they were transitioned to. Culture and inclusion is something we value strongly here at Hatch. The pandemic has proved trying but we have been continuously improving upon our customer onboarding, team building, and upskilling, aiming to deliver nothing short of the best experience for all of our employees.

Pros

None at all, friends. None at all.

Cons

Quite literally everyone who started at this company have all left at this point due to the blatant disrespect and and poor company culture. They also just let go of over 20 employees.
