Pros

Proud to have worked for such a well respected company.

Cons

Company totally in the 1940's in mentality. Women can't get ahead with this company. Very short sighted. Let the "seasoned" salespeople/floor managers rule the roost. They are trying to move forward with the "design" program. If I saw one more bird or flower art I was going to shoot myself. Can't move forward if your product stays behind. Requested one Saturday off in 2 years to move, manager's response-" You know that you DO work retail". Wow- I didn't know that!!!!

Pros

temperature controlled environment with comfortable seating

Cons

Management often blame others to cover themselves. Such as a specific associate. This company has been in the top 5 in yearly profits but refrain from giving raises year because of a so call raise freeze for the last 6 years. bonuses get smaller and smaller every year. Will keep you at bare minimum

Pros

The pro's that could " potentially" be there for this job come if you are placed at the right location foremost. Location is everything along side the right manager. If you are of a certain "type" you might be fine but the terms of making advertised pay. Product they sell is decent.

Cons

Not much respect for there employee's , they ask for you to go to "required" training (4 hours on one occasion) then don't want to pay you for your time. Management is terrible in most locations and pay doesn't come close to what they advertise. Building a client base especially at a slow location takes a considerable amount of time. You will work holidays and forget about scheduled breaks and lunches. Management helps steal your client base to share with "more" desirable and obedient employees. I could go on but I'm sure a smart person can read between the lines
