Pros

Good benefits; including healthcare and dental

Cons

It’s surprising that after the false claims lawsuit, the culture hasn't changed. New employees are not welcomed, and female executives are quick to judge other colleagues. They openly portray deceitful behaviors towards them along with talking poorly about wound care physicians and program directors. One team that I worked with is cannibalizing each other based on three main players, all unprofessional women.

Pros

Clinical pathways built upon evidence based medicine

Cons

The company has lost focus on the customer, customer being the hospital partner and employee. THEY HAVE BEEN OVERCOME WITH GREED !! The operations have become more focused on the bottom line, no matter the cost to the employees or hospital partner. The end result being that they are truly more concerned with their own profits and will do what it takes to assure that the company remains profitable even at the hospital's expense. It is disheartening to be witness to mistruths, apathy, and dishonesty, demonstrated towards their "partners" especially since these hospital are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to be within the Healogics network. More importantly, employees are bullied and treated with blatant disrespect and arrogance while being paid substantially less than market value !! Unfortunately, a culture like this starts at the top, the CEO, and works it's way down. It is incredulous to this reviewer that the CEO allows his subordinates (the SVP's) to behave the way they do, and the lack of support provided by HR in a company that has multiple employee complaints against management on a weekly to daily basis. My advise to any potential employee or hospital partner for that matter is to stay away...run and run fast ....!!

Pros

They sometimes do fun activities like Ice Cream Social.

Cons

Literally everything. They are like an inverted triangle. They do not have enough support staff but the field is HUGE and we have a million executives. The amount of work they expect to be completed in 8 hours by one person is impossible and when you bring up that you are swamped, drowning, cannot take on any more work, you are told that "they cannot understand why something that takes 2 minutes means you cannot complete your job." Well, if I am being asked to complete a task 50 times a day, and takes a total of 20 minutes, that's 1,000 minutes, or 16 hours. And that is just ONE task that is my responsibility. Not to mention the 15-20 or so other responsibilities that you have. The fact that the higher ups are so out of touch with their employees is beyond frustrating. They have started this new "culture of accountability" but what it should really be is a "culture of accountability for some" because not everyone is held accountable to the same standards. If you are a favorite, then you get a free pass to do as you please. That tells me that they don't really care about their culture, although they have spent a fortune to implement this, but instead they care only for the perception of this culture. Those who get in the way of that perception are pushed out. I wouldn't waste my time here. If you get in, you will spend every moment trying to get out.
