Pros

Pretty good compensation/benefits Great work life balance (PTO not tracked, flexibility on when/where you do your work, as long as you get it done) Talented/committed colleagues Wide variety of interesting projects Not overly large/bureaucratic - ability to every single person to be heard, make suggestions, take on more responsibility, etc.. Project teams not too large/specialized, which allows for more effective software/analytics development

Cons

At times, it seems certain groups of employees can feel siloed within a specific customer, role, or department Re-orgs have made career path and work responsibilities a little unclear (roles evolving, and unsure if evolving in the way specific employees hoped/anticipated) Small size limits promotion/growth opportunities to some degree. Though the company tries very hard to promote from within and increase employee's responsibilities as company growth permits. Much of the direction/strategy is dominated by corporate HQ teams. Teams outside may feel a bit like passengers, or non very involved on key long-term initiatives, priorities, etc..

Thank you for this feedback, I think it is fair and it resonates with me. We've felt a great desire to enable every team member, in every location, to feel and sense that they have a bright future with many career path options available to them. But I also know of some of the challenges of living and working in a different location from the company headquarters. I think in many ways we've made some really positive strides in enabling a positive team member experience for those outside of Utah. But we still also have work to do there. I do feel encouraged that as we update our contract relationships relevant to our team members in Minneapolis, that we are building in more flexibility regarding team member assignments, to provide greater opportunities for you to contribute in multiple settings and clients and roles. And we'll keep emphasizing with our leaders and managers the importance of regular 1:1s which should include a discussion of how to enable a bright career path for each team member. Thank you for your daily contributions to the mission, over the past three-plus years, and the work you do in Minneapolis is such incredible, mission-centric work, and so effective. You and your colleagues have my love and respect as you have enabled such profound improvement in outcomes! Keep up the great work. Best, Dan

Pros

Great Culture and Mission. Extremely well defined and great fulfilling mission. Amazing Benefits that help promote a good work/life balance. Senior leadership is awesome, extremely knowledgable and very focused on the success of each team member as well as the company. The Transparency shown by the Leadership team is beyond anything I have seen from any company I have worked for and I love it!

Cons

This is a fast growing company and because of that there are many growing pains. Constant reorganization have left many, including myself, wondering where my career path leads. Middle Management struggles with connecting with some of its workers because they are disconnected from work that the team member may be doing or understanding of that work because each client is so different. Education/Certifications are encouraged but I have seen many times that even when it is completed, the Team Member gets overlooked at using that newly aquired education in real life job application by managers.

Thank you for this feedback, and for your more than 5 years of contribution to the company. I sincerely appreciate the significance of that contribution over that long timeframe. I'm sorry to hear that after you completed training/certification we weren't as good as we could have been in utilizing this. Would you include this feedback when you are asked to participate in your manager's 360-degree survey later this year? We'll also emphasize this point more generally, and keep working on improved manager development and training as well. I appreciate also your feedback regarding reorgs. We are trying to minimize the number and frequency of reorgs wherever possible. One challenge, as we discussed in our most recent ATM meeting two weeks ago, is that the company is growing really rapidly, and this hyper-growth necessitates more frequent organizational adjustments than if we were growing much more slowly. We'll still try to minimize this disruption as much as we can. Thank you again for your significant, sustained service to the company these past five-plus years! Best, Dan
