Thank you for your review and feedback. And thank you for your contributions, made over a long period of time, from our fantastic Minneapolis office. Your work is so meaningful and it matters. We certainly do care about each of our team members, including you. As I mentioned in my most recent visit to your office, the work that you each accomplish on behalf of one of our largest clients, is directly tied to our company's mission, and is incredibly meaningful. I also appreciate your feedback regarding the remote team member experience and your desire to see more leadership development opportunities. These are areas of consistent focus for us, and we're working to be systemically good in both these areas, but there's always room for improvement. If you'd be open to sharing with me your ideas of how we can be better, I'd be happy to visit 1:1 with you -- Jenn Howard can help set that up. Thanks again for your years of contribution and support of the mission. Best, Dan

Pros

Have been with the company nearly five years. Many growing pains, but things are going well. Really appreciate the great benefits package (and total compensation) that keep me on the job. Enjoy what I am doing on a daily basis and the great co-workers. There have been great strides made in employee/manger interaction that make a remote employee feel more in-touch with the main company.

Cons

Still some issues balancing "unlimited" PTO (now called "flexible", but still not tracked or accrued) against "billable" client time. I understand the need, but it does make us feel like we can't schedule a vacation without building up extra client time first.

Thank you for your review and feedback, I really appreciate it. And thank you for highlighting the ongoing tension between financial sustainability and work/life balance. In our most recent earnings call, I highlighted that from my perspective, our professional services utilization was higher than what we'd like it to be, in order to make the pro services roles more long-term sustainable. We are working to add a little more of a bench and a little more flex time so that a better work-life balance will be doable. I appreciate the work that you do each day to help our clients succeed, and want you and each of our colleagues to be in a position to take time off in order to recharge and renew. We'll keep working on this. Thank you again for your five years of contributions to our mission! Best, Dan

Great Organization Getting Better

Pros

The Health Catalyst Mission, Operating Principles and Cultural Attributes are repeatedly communicated and all team members are encouraged to live by these every day. Outstanding benefits that provide a great work-life balance. Documented outcomes improvements recognized by our clients gives all team members incredible pride and appreciation for what we all do each and every day.

Cons

There is a tremendous amount of work to do, and setting appropriate priorities isn't always clear based on manager feedback. The transparency culture at HC can sometimes yield sharing of team member information that should be kept more private. Sometimes team members get direction and assignments from someone other than their direct manager, which can cause issues with capacity planning and reporting structures.

Thank you for this feedback and for your service at Health Catalyst. I appreciate the feedback regarding workload and regarding the balance between being transparent and also being careful with confidential information, in addition to sometimes being a "human heat shield" on behalf of team members. We'll keep working to strike the right balance. We'll also continue to emphasize the importance of every team member, at every level, adhering to the Health Catalyst Way, with no exceptions. Thank you again for your service at Health Catalyst -- I'm grateful to be your colleague! Best, Dan
