      Great Mission and Culture; Technology Silos

      Pros

      Health Catalyst has the best culture of any company for which I have worked. Dan Burton, the CEO, is a rare leader who consistently emphasizes timeless principles--including respect for and the empowerment of every team member to be fellow owners of the company's mission--to improve healthcare for everyone. He walks the talk and sets the example for everyone else. My business unit, its leaders, my manager, and my teammates are the best I've ever had the pleasure of working with in a career that spans decades and multiple organizations, large and small.

      Cons

      Some on the executive team and in middle management do not always follow the company principles as closely as our CEO does. Also, our company's products have been established as independent technologies with largely separate product roadmaps, which has led to a lack of intra-company collaboration and the frequent sub-optimization of products and processes in redundant, less-scalable silos.

      Excellent company ... because of Excellent CEO

      - Great leadership ... specifically CEO - Great work/life balance - Great principles/culture the company tries to adhere to -Mission driven -Company continues to make strides to improve both inside and outside (for clients)

      Cons

      -Growing pains ... but they are to be expected - A few team members who have a different set of values/cultural attributes /expectations than those that have been published by HCAT for years
