      Pros

      Nice people for the most part. Dedicated CEO. Decent benefits. Competitive compensation.

      Cons

      They’ve become so focused on their woke version of inclusion and diversity that they’ve forgotten the business. Their SVP staff (huge by the way) is certainly diverse but the talent base there is about an inch deep.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a negative experience as a result of the company's diversity, equity and inclusion work. That's certainly not our objective, and we're not perfect. I also empathize with the frustration inherent in a dramatic downward shift in our company's stock price. We'll discuss this issue at length in today's All Team Member meeting -- our assessment of what is happening in the macroeconomic environment, how it is affecting sectors of the economy and sectors of public market companies including Health Catalyst, and what we're doing in response. We'll keep striving to do all that is within our power to execute in a differentiated way, with confidence that in the mid- to long-term, markets and investors will appreciate this strong execution.       Management truly cares about your mental health and work/life balance

      Cons

      They give your bonus mostly in RSUs that don't pay out for years.

      Thank you for your review and feedback. Grateful to hear of the positives that you feel that management cares about your mental health and your work/life balance. We certainly do, and hope that this will always be the case. The RSUs that we provide as part of the bonus have only a one year vest, tied to the one year bonus payout timeframe which is the same as the cash component of the bonus. Other non-bonus equity grants you receive annually do vest over typically a four-year period, but those are different from the bonus RSUs which vest after one year.       Great Company to Work For

      After working in a hospital setting for 30 years, I am very excited to be using my clinical knowledge at Health Catalyst. I have been here about 6 weeks and my initial impressions are extremely positive. Here are some of the strengths I see: - Leadership is very focused on the mission/vision of the company and they speak to it every month. I appreciate they realize new employees are constantly coming in, and it's important that they hear this message beyond orientation. - I appreciate the remote work opportunity. This allows you to pull in great talent that you might otherwise lose if you had to relocate your family. In addition they include the remote workers in the company activities. (Movie nights, etc.) so you truly feel part of the team while working remote. - Healthcare is broken, but Health Catalyst realizes that and is working to create tools to help clinicians focus on their opportunities, rather than spending all your time trying to collect data...and in many cases there aren't enough resources, so you never move past the data collection phase. - Transparency - this is lacking in so many companies, but I have appreciated the monthly team meetings where status, goals, etc, are shared with the team.

      Cons

      Really no cons. This is my first remote work position, so am getting used to lots of Zoom calls.
