Pros

HSAG was once a strong employer with competitive pay and opportunities to grow. Many talented colleagues work hard and care deeply about the mission.

Cons

Raises are minimal or nonexistent, and benefits have become increasingly expensive while coverage erodes. Support staff positions are cut without replacement, and their responsibilities are simply redistributed, leaving remaining employees working at 150% capacity. Meanwhile, leadership roles, often highly paid, contribute little to contract delivery, spending most of their time in meetings and enjoying perks like catered lunches. The disconnect is glaring: those doing the actual work are stretched thin and struggling, while executives remain insulated. There are no bonuses, and employee well-being clearly isn’t a priority.
