Lot of room for growth in the company. Lot of different projects to work on. Monthly 1:1 so hear feedback often. Good communication with peers. Good holidays and flexible schedule.

Cons

Management will sometimes sweep things under the rug. Procedure documentation could be better and more consistent.

Pros

The people. The money. Annual raises. (They've adjusted the cola when inflation was high and still provided a performance increase) The people. Good work life balance, if you give yourself one. I've seen a lot of people moving around to different departments, so it's nice to know you can move around a bit if you want to do something different.

Cons

nothing major, but the company does deal with federal contracts, so sometimes you're at the mercy of the government. The company is pretty well diversified now, so not usually a problem, but can be stressful waiting for contracts to get approved/renewed.
