Pros

they have pretty good benefits and HSA contribution, 100% remote.

Cons

New CEO directs large layoffs in all departments and did it strategically so they didn't have to provide state warn notices. The company was doing great and experiencing no issues, this was all done to boost the image of the new CEO Scott Cutler so he can announce "amazing financial growth" in his first quarter. They are ridding the company of people who care or who have been there too long and deciding to outsource or hire people they can pay less. I used to love this place and now I just feel scared and stressed with more work to do but less people to help out.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We understand that recent changes have been challenging, especially for those who have been deeply invested in HealthEquity’s mission and culture. Decisions that impact roles are never made lightly—they’re made to support the long-term health of the business and our ability to serve members for years to come. We know culture is built through trust and consistency, not just words or perks. While the company is evolving, we remain focused on grounding our direction in our values, supporting our teams, and building a future that honors both our mission and the people behind it. Your feedback matters, and we appreciate the work you've done to move HealthEquity forward.
