Pros

A lot of really smart people in the company. Great pay. Kessler is a great guy.

Cons

We are the epitome of a toxic environment. Specifically, anyone who tries to the right thing - whether it's coding or QA or security - the data team shuts it down. Our CTO turns a blind eye and puts his head in the sand. HR ignores the employees and they dont work to resove anything. It took me 2.5 months before they got back to me regarding paternity leave.

Thank you for dedicating your time to provide a review of your journey at HealthEquity. We are glad to learn that our remote work policy and the remarkable individuals on our team enhanced your experience with us. Your feedback and insights are valuable, and we assure you that they will be thoughtfully considered. It's regrettable to hear that aspects of your experience fell short of your expectations. We hope you had the opportunity to share your concerns with your leader or your people business partner prior to your departure.

Pros

Work a home, but the cons essentially nullify this single pro.

Cons

After getting through being trained on the Classic platform and about six months in, you are forced to learn and administer the RA platform, which is an immense amount of information without an increase in pay. Then a short time from there you are forced to learn and administer the V5 platform, which is not only dated but consists of 85% disgruntled members due to the incompetent and dated systems used especially the use of members cards. In short, the V5 platform should be retention because you are constantly apologizing to disgruntled members for the consistent issues with cards and account accessibility. Shortly after being forced to learn and administer the V5 platform, you are also forced to learn and administer the Commuter platform, again without any other additional compensation. You will be expected to do what you were initially only told when hired that you would be doing, which is the Classic platform and all of those responsibilities plus all the other platforms and administer them without one increase in pay. Just be warned if you are looking into working here that HealthEquity will exploit you as an employee to maximize their profits while minimizing your rate of pay as you learn all the various platforms you are forced to learn and administer without one cent increase in your rate of pay. And on a side note, some of the younger supervisors provide misinformation that I have had to correct on several occasions and if they don't or won't assist you with an issue, you will be told to call someone else for help. In addition, supervisor inspiration lacks prestige and is pathetic, and lamentable at best.
