Pros
Hands down, my highest ranking "Pro" is HealthEquity's culture, which is the best culture I've ever experienced in my professional career. My teammates are also some of my best friends and I seldom feel unsupported or alone at work. My leaders are invested in my professional growth and have created an environment where I feel safe enough to try new things outside of my familiar comfort zone.
In a close second for top "Pro", the full-time remote work environment. Unlike so many other large corporations, I am forever grateful that HealthEquity did not force everyone to return to an office after the pandemic. Our XLT kept a very close eye on the team's response to our new remote work environment and how it affected productivity. Where so many other companies missed the mark, HealthEquity dove headfirst into embracing our remote status and promoting a healthy work/life balance. They understood that when your team is happy, the whole company benefits, as evidenced by our increased productivity while working remotely. As a person with a disability, this one item changed my entire world and opened doors to a career level I could have never achieved had we remained in-office.
I'll speed run through a few more pros: Excellent benefits, Unlimited PTO, Clear career pathing, Transparent XLT, Standalone mental health coverage/benefits, and more.
Cons
It gets VERY busy from late September through the end of January due to most client's plan years starting on 1/1. There is an incredible amount of support for us during this time from our leaders and fellow teammates however, it can be exhausting and draining if you are not mentally prepared (or if you do not accurately anticipate the amount of time spent at work during this time). It can also take away from your holiday season a bit too but the more relaxed pace during the Spring and Summer months make up for it.
