Pros

The last few years have seen astronomical growth for insurance agents that chose to do it the right way. We've never experienced a market that requires insurance coverage. Though commissions have fallen drastically for health products, this company has armed us with the training, knowledge, and products to help protect our clients with additional lines of coverage. Significant income opportunities exist outside of open enrollment periods with small group insurance, supplemental insurance, life, disability, and retirement options. My income has risen each year of my career and I earn well over a $100K. Shhh...don't tell anyone, but I work out of my home office 90% of the time.

Cons

No benefits as this is an outside sales opportunity.
