Misaligned Roles and Unclear Expectations

Pros

- Mission-driven work in healthcare education and compliance. - Many colleagues are passionate and collaborative. - Opportunities to contribute meaningfully, if your role is clearly defined.

Cons

- Roles are often misaligned with job descriptions. - Employees may be hired for one function but expected to take on - unrelated responsibilities (e.g., project management and executive assistant duties) without training, support, or respect for their professional development trajectory. - Managers sometimes interpret boundary-setting or clarification as resistance, rather than a call for better alignment. - This tendency to reconfigure roles on the fly often ignores employees’ strengths and weaknesses, leading to poor utilization and disengagement. - Lack of clarity around responsibilities can lead to burnout and confusion.

Horribly Disorganized. Tremendous Turnover. Burnt Out.

Pros

There are some hardworking nice people still here

Cons

The company re-orgs routinely, and there has been a ton of turnover, and we're left with nobody knowing what anybody's job is, and very low tenure in almost every position. To be moderately successful requires long hours and incredible resilience and figuring things out yourself.
