You'll waste most of your time trying to appease key performance indicator corporate goals that don't actually accomplish anything. If a supply chain on the other side of the country had a specific problem with their process, you'll have to do extra work to implement the solution to that problem whether you had an issue or not, whether it applies to your healthcare market or not, whether it makes sense to or not, whether it actually gets in the way of providing better service at a lower cost of the company or not. Everyone here is just trying to appease the person above them on the ladder, no one actually cares about the work, at least none of the people calling the shots.
