IT leadership was completely replaced by people that the are buddies with Sr leadership who are far from competent. Some have zero experience in the industry but pretend to know everything. Dishonesty runs rampant as the norm, not the exception. The only goal is to "prove" how good they regardless of reality. Metrics are scewed to make everything look good. After all, sr leaders would not ever want to hear the truth about the crappy products and terrible service they provide to the business. When they dont know how to do something the answer is to purchase another tool that will solve the problems but because of the lack of knowledge the tools are not implemented and used successfully. They are good at making pretty Powerpoints that prove how great things are but there is nothing behind those pretty slides. It's all smoke and mirrors. The honest employees don't stand a chance because nobody wants to hear the truth so they are forced to live with the acopolpse that has occurred and since they are loyal, work their tails off to try to keep the place from sinking. Not to mention the extensive outsourcing to contractors who know nothing about the business and it takes 3x more of them to do the work and the end product is subpar. If your skin is a certain color do not worry, you are safe! The place is like a Jenga game with one of the final pieces being pulled out to crumble the empire.
