Pros

PTO and work life balance

Cons

The management of Analytics at HF is handicapped by incompetence and favoritism, making it an annoying work environment for workers who want to grow in their careers. Opportunities for growth are not well defined, and promotions are awarded to a select few year after year, irrespective of performance. Management is on the basis of favorites, which is unjust and humiliating to work under. One of the biggest issues is how goals are handled. Objectives are loosely documented at the beginning of the year with plenty of room for fudging. At review time, expectations are shifted abruptly to accommodate predetermined scores. This practice allows leadership to maintain the facade of a fair review system while ensuring that only their favorite employees receive high ratings and opportunities for advancement. Hard-working workers who deliver output often get bogged down with no appreciation and opportunity for promotion. The management is vision-less and fails to imbue an environment of transparency and meritocracy. Instead of rewarding talent, they encourage cronyism. For anyone who wants an equal and satisfying Analytics career, HF is not the company. Until top management intervenes to fix these deep-seated issues, employees will continue to be under appreciated and overlooked.
